Description
The ZKTeco ZKB202S is a wireless 2D image barcode scanner designed for retail, warehouse, inventory, logistics, healthcare and general point-of-sale applications. It can quickly read common 1D and 2D barcodes from printed labels as well as codes displayed on LCD and OLED mobile phone screens. The scanner uses a 640 x 480 image sensor, white LED illumination and a 650nm red aiming pattern to provide fast and comfortable barcode capture. ZKTeco designed the ZKB202S to handle high-density, dirty and damaged barcodes, making it suitable for demanding day-to-day commercial use. Standard wireless communication is through 2.4GHz with a range of up to approximately 60 metres in suitable open environments, while selected versions can also include Bluetooth with a range of up to approximately 15 metres. The scanner supports both synchronous real-time transmission and storage mode, giving users flexibility when working away from the connected computer or POS system. A built-in 2000mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery provides at least 12 hours of operation per full charge and up to approximately four weeks of standby time. The ZKB202S supports popular barcode formats including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec, MaxiCode, UPC, EAN, Code 128, Code 39 and many others, making it a versatile solution for modern barcode scanning environments.
