Description
The ZKTeco ZKB201S is a compact handheld 2D image barcode scanner designed for retail, POS, inventory, warehouse, pharmacy, office and general commercial scanning applications. It supports fast and accurate reading of common 1D and 2D barcodes from both printed labels and electronic screens, making it suitable for product barcodes, QR codes, mobile payment codes, digital tickets and other barcode-based workflows. The scanner uses a 640 x 480 pixel image sensor with white LED illumination and a 650nm true-red aiming pattern to provide clear and comfortable target acquisition. It is designed to read standard, high-density, dirty and partially damaged barcodes when sufficient barcode information remains available. The ZKB201S supports Standard USB connectivity for simple plug-and-play installation, while RS232 is available as an optional interface. A decode LED indicator and adjustable beeper provide immediate scan confirmation. With 360-degree roll tolerance, wide pitch and skew tolerance, the scanner allows users to capture barcodes from a variety of angles without requiring precise alignment. Its lightweight 122 g construction makes it suitable for extended daily use at checkout counters, service desks, stock rooms and warehouse operations.
