Description
The ZKTeco K40 Pro is a professional biometric time-attendance terminal designed for offices, retail stores, factories, schools, warehouses and other organizations that need reliable employee attendance tracking. It supports fingerprint verification, RFID/ID or IC card authentication on supported configurations, and PIN/user ID entry through its physical keypad. The terminal features a 2.8-inch TFT colour display for clear menu navigation and attendance confirmation. TCP/IP and USB Host connectivity make it easy to transfer employee records and attendance logs to compatible attendance-management software, while optional ADMS and web-server functions may be available depending on the firmware and regional configuration. In addition to time attendance, the K40 Pro provides simple access-control functionality and can interface with a third-party electric lock and exit button. A built-in backup battery helps maintain operation during temporary power interruptions. The current ZKTeco K40 Pro platform supports up to 3,000 fingerprint templates, up to 3,000 card users on applicable configurations and up to 200,000 transaction records. Standard functions include Work Code, SMS, daylight-saving-time support, attendance record query, automatic status switching, scheduled bell, T9 input, 9-digit user IDs and simple access control.
