ZKTeco P1206-B Access Control Power Supply with Battery Backup Support

Description

The ZKTeco P1206-B is a dedicated access-control power supply designed to provide stable and protected DC power for electric locks, drop bolts, RFID readers, biometric access-control terminals and related door-security equipment. It accepts a wide AC 100–240V input and provides approximately DC 12–13V output, making it suitable for a broad range of commercial and institutional access-control installations. On 220V AC input, the P1206-B supports a continuous load of up to 5A and an instantaneous load of up to approximately 5.5A, allowing it to handle electric locking devices that require higher startup current. The unit supports connection of a 12V 7.5Ah backup battery, helping maintain access-control operation during temporary mains-power failures. It also includes electrical protection against overload, over-current, over-voltage and short circuits. An adjustable lock-delay function from 0 to 15 seconds provides flexibility for different door-locking applications. With average efficiency up to approximately 82%, integrated noise filtering and a compact metal enclosure, the P1206-B is suitable for offices, factories, schools, hospitals, apartments, retail premises and other controlled-entry environments. ZKTeco has also named the P1206-B as one of the replacement products for the older P1205-B3 power supply platform.
