Description
The ZKTeco GL300W is a Wi-Fi enabled smart biometric door lock designed to provide convenient keyless access for modern offices, meeting rooms, shops and other commercial or residential spaces. The GL300W supports multiple unlocking methods including smartphone control through the ZSmart App, fingerprint recognition, passcode and IC card authentication. Its built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows authorised administrators to manage the lock remotely, review access records, manage users and provide temporary access without needing to be physically present at the door. The glass-door version of the GL300W is specifically designed for 10 mm to 12 mm glass swing doors and can be installed without drilling holes in the glass, making it particularly suitable for existing frameless glass-door installations. The lock incorporates a semiconductor capacitive fingerprint sensor with support for up to 100 fingerprints, along with capacity for 100 passcodes and 100 IC cards. Security and convenience features include random passcode entry to help protect PIN codes from observation, temporary digital access sharing for guests, a built-in electronic doorbell, low-battery warnings and audio instructions. An emergency Micro-USB power interface allows the lock to be temporarily powered using a power bank if the internal batteries are exhausted. The GL300W operates using four AA alkaline batteries and can provide up to approximately one year of battery life under typical manufacturer test conditions. Its enclosure combines zinc alloy and ABS plastic for a strong and modern design. Selected/current regional versions additionally list NFC functionality and storage for up to 20,000 access transactions. Because ZKTeco publishes more than one regional GL300W hardware configuration, customers should confirm whether their supplied unit is the 10-12 mm glass-door version or the newer multi-door configuration before installation.
