Description
The Xprinter XP-T80A is an 80mm direct thermal receipt printer designed for retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, cafés, hotels, billing counters and other point-of-sale environments. It uses direct thermal printing technology, eliminating the need for ink cartridges, toner or ribbons and helping reduce ongoing consumable costs. The printer supports approximately 79.5 ± 0.5 mm thermal receipt paper with a maximum print width of about 72 mm. The LAN / USB configuration allows the printer to connect directly to a single POS computer through USB or operate as a shared network receipt printer through Ethernet, making it suitable for both standalone and multi-terminal POS environments. It supports the widely used ESC/POS command set, helping ensure compatibility with many retail, restaurant and billing applications. Depending on the exact hardware revision, the XP-T80A platform is available with high-speed printing around 200 to 230 mm per second. It supports common 1D barcode formats as well as QR Code and PDF417 on supported LAN configurations. A built-in partial auto-cutter improves checkout efficiency and is rated for approximately 1.5 million cuts, while the thermal printhead is rated for approximately 150 km of printing. With Windows, Linux, macOS and Android driver support on current Xprinter 80mm platforms, the XP-T80A is a practical and economical receipt-printing solution for daily commercial use.
