The Sharp MX-312AT Black Toner Cartridge Chip is a compatible replacement IC chip designed for MX-312AT toner cartridges used in selected Sharp monochrome photocopiers and multifunction printers. The chip provides the compatible copier with cartridge-identification and toner-cartridge life information required for normal cartridge recognition and operation. Sharp's service documentation identifies MX-312AT as the Asia-affiliate and Hong Kong black toner cartridge version for the MX-M260 / MX-M310 platform, with the toner cartridge supplied from the factory with an IC chip. The associated MX-312AT cartridge is rated for approximately 25,000 pages based on A4 printing at 6% document coverage. Replacement chip suppliers additionally cross-list the MX-312AT chip for Sharp MX-M260, MX-M260N, MX-M264N, MX-M310, MX-M310N, MX-M314N, MX-M354N, AR-5726 and AR-5731 photocopiers. This product contains the electronic toner chip only and does not include toner powder or the toner cartridge body. It is intended for toner-cartridge rebuilding, refilling and maintenance applications where a compatible MX-312AT cartridge requires a new chip. Because Sharp uses different regional toner codes including MX-312AT, MX-312GT, MX-312FT, MX-312NT, MX-312BT and MX-312CT, the correct regional chip must be selected. Customers should verify that their existing toner cartridge is marked MX-312AT before ordering.
