Description
The Pressure Roller for HP LaserJet P2035 Series is a compatible replacement lower fuser roller designed for HP LaserJet P2035 and P2055 monochrome laser printers. This component forms part of the printer's fuser assembly and works together with the heated fixing film or upper fixing section to apply pressure and heat to the printed sheet, permanently bonding toner particles to the paper. The roller is commonly referred to as the lower pressure roller, lower fuser roller or lower sleeved roller, with LPR-P2035 widely used as the aftermarket reference. HP service documentation identifies the complete P2035/P2055 fuser assemblies as RM1-6405-000CN for 110-127V printers and RM1-6406-000CN for 220-240V printers, while service-parts catalogs list the lower sleeved roller separately for both printer models. A worn or damaged pressure roller can cause toner smearing, poor toner fixing, repeated marks, wrinkles, paper jams, creases, uneven pressure or noisy fuser operation. Damage may appear as cuts, worn coating, flat spots, deformation, heat damage or toner buildup on the roller surface. Replacing the pressure roller can be more economical than replacing the entire fuser assembly when the remaining fuser components are still serviceable. For best repair results, technicians should inspect the fixing film, heating element, pressure-roller bushings, lower roller gear and fuser frame at the same time. Professional installation is strongly recommended because fuser disassembly requires correct pressure, alignment and reassembly and the unit operates at high temperature.
