Power Board for Canon imageCLASS MF241d Series
Description
The Power Board for Canon imageCLASS MF241d is a replacement internal power-supply board designed to restore stable electrical operation when the printer's original power board becomes faulty. The power board receives AC mains power and supplies the required internal voltages to the printer's controller electronics, laser engine, motors, scanner and related systems. A defective power board can cause problems such as the printer not powering on, intermittent startup, sudden shutdowns, repeated restarting, failure to complete initialization, visible burn damage or other unstable electrical behaviour. Canon specifies the MF241d as a monochrome laser multifunction printer operating from 220 to 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz in applicable markets, with maximum power consumption of 1,150 W or less. Because power-board revisions, PCB layouts, connector positions and electrical specifications can vary by market and production batch, customers should compare the original board, visible PCB number, connector arrangement and printer voltage label before ordering. Professional technician installation is strongly recommended because the board is connected to hazardous mains voltage and can retain electrical charge after the printer has been disconnected.
