The Total Tech Solutions Lexmark 50F0Z00 / 500Z Compatible Black Imaging Unit is a long-life replacement imaging assembly designed for selected Lexmark MS and MX series monochrome laser printers and multifunction machines. It replaces the original Lexmark 50F0Z00 500Z Return Program Imaging Unit and supported 50F0ZA0 500ZA imaging-unit configurations. The imaging unit contains the photosensitive imaging components responsible for forming the page image before toner is transferred and fused onto the paper. Replacing a worn imaging unit can help correct recurring spots, horizontal or vertical streaks, grey backgrounds, blank pages, uneven print density, toner specks and other drum-related print defects. The original Lexmark imaging-unit family has an estimated maximum life of up to approximately 60,000 A4 or Letter pages, based on around three average pages per print job at approximately 5% coverage. Actual compatible-unit life varies according to average print-job length, page coverage, paper size, printer speed, operating environment and maintenance conditions. This product is the imaging unit only. A toner cartridge is required separately and is not included. This is a compatible aftermarket product and is not manufactured, sponsored or endorsed by Lexmark International.
