Description
The Epson LQ-310 is a fast, reliable and economical 24-pin narrow-carriage dot matrix printer designed for demanding business environments that require continuous paper, multipart forms and dependable impact printing. Developed as the successor to the popular Epson LQ-300 series, the LQ-310 delivers significantly improved speed, processing capacity and reliability. It can print at speeds of up to 416 characters per second at 12 cpi in High Speed Draft mode and features a 128 KB input data buffer for efficient handling of print jobs. The printer supports up to four-part forms consisting of one original plus three copies, making it ideal for invoices, receipts, delivery notes, purchase orders, accounting forms, warehouse documents and other multipart business records. Its 24-pin print head provides sharper character formation than typical 9-pin dot matrix printers and offers an approximate print-head life of 400 million strokes per wire. The LQ-310 supports both friction feeding and rear push-tractor feeding for single sheets, continuous forms and multipart stationery. Flexible connectivity is provided through USB 2.0 Full-Speed, Serial and IEEE-1284 Parallel interfaces, allowing the printer to integrate with both modern and legacy business systems. With an MTBF rating of approximately 10,000 power-on hours and a mean print volume between failure of approximately 20 million lines, the Epson LQ-310 is particularly well suited to offices, warehouses, retail businesses, logistics companies, accounting departments and organizations requiring dependable high-volume document printing.
